| About A View from the Booth |
This "View from the Booth" exhibit consists of over 50 pieces. The
photographs are both playful and profound, bringing together a bit of optical delight, technology and magic. The exhibit, which debuted at the
Newburgh-Beacon Ferry Landing in the City of Newburgh, contains excerpts from Torres' work taken daily from her front row seat.
Her photographs magically capture the light, life and sound of the Hudson Valley's best--Newburgh Bay. |

About The Farm |
The Palmerone Farm was located at one of the busiest intersections (Rts 300 and 17K) in the Town of Newburgh.
The Palmerone's owned and worked the land since migrating from Italy in 1911. In the late 80's, inheritance tax forced the liquidation of an era.
In April 2005, the end arrived, and the auctioneers mallet sealed the deal.
